I am LOVING maxi skirts this year!

Maxi skirts are so versatile and can be styled in so many different ways and perfect for any occassion!

First, you need the maxi skirt. A few of my favorites are this light blue one, and this black one.

AllaSilk creates the most beautiful silk maxi skirts. With much of the inspiration coming from nature and boho style, these skirts are exquisite with any piece it’s paired with.

  1. I love maxi skirts, but do not have enough of them. I usually wear mine with sweaters in winter; I have a brown kimono-sleeved sweater I especially love, but now that it is getting warmer, cardigans are the way to go now. 🙂

One look at that pink one made me fall in love! It would look so pretty with the red kimono. 🙂

  2. Maxi Skirts are great! I used to have so many but I haven’t worn one in years after reading this post though I am going to need to find out!

  3. I’ve always styled my maxi skirts the same way… But now I want to try to pair one with a bralette and mesh top!! Thanks for the ideas!!

  4. I’ve never worn this style of maxi skirt but always wanted to!! Ive had the straight fitten ones but never knew what to put with a loose one, thanks for sharing!!! Ill make sure to tag you if I get round to buying one!! Xx

  5. I love a maxi skirt! My favorite is a frilly leopard print one and I have been wearing it with a tee and a denim jacket. I also luke to wear it with a knitted hoodie. Will try your other ideas too!

  6. Oooh! I love all of these maxi skirts! It is harder for me because I am shorter but I’ve been trying to find a cute maxi skirt for a while. Thanks for sharing all of these different ways to style them! I am all about the crop top look!

  7. I have always admired maxi skirts from afar, never owned one. I will definitely own one soon and flourish in it. Thanks for this post

  8. Oooh these were in year and years ago…Love that they are back. Do you think even a petite woman can wear this? I’m five one and I always worry about certain styles making me look wider than I am or shorter and this skirt is one I’d love to wear but worry won’t look good on me 🙁 🙁

    1. I think anyone could wear them! I think they are such a simple staple. Experiment with flats, heels and different length tops until you find what you love! Sending love?

  9. Wonderful post and really gets me in the spring mood!
I do love a good maxi skirt but I struggle as I’m under 5ft so I have to wear heals!

I like to wear a maxi skirt with some light and airy heals, a nice light low dipped top and a satin flowy kimono!

    Thanks for the fab post!

    Stay wonderful!

    1. That sounds beautiful! Unfortunately I simply can’t walk in heels so I always opt for flats. I’m 5’8 though so it’s okay with a maxi skirt. I love the sound of this outfit though! Thanks for reading and commenting! Sending love your way!

  10. I’ve never actually owned a maxi skirt, but these look so pretty! I love the suggestion of teaming it with a t-shirt and denim jacket, that would be such a cute and casual style for the spring. I’m tempted to give it a try, thanks for the inspiration! <3 xx

  11. I’ve never owned a maxi skirt. I always thought I was too short for one and it’d look silly but I’m definitely going to invest in one and experiment with it when all of this is over and I can actually go somewhere in it!

  12. In the past I’ve been very scared to style a maxi skirt as I’m a tiny 5″ lady haha but I’ve since found that if I style it with a crop top it doesn’t drown me out so much. Great post! Thanks for the tips!
