AD: Though I`ve never travelled, I`ve of course seen photos, and Belfast looks beautiful! There are so many wonderful things to do, and with the holiday spirit creeping up quickly, I`m sure I`m not the only one on a tighter budget. So let`s talk about some free Belfast Dating!

Let`s start with where Belfast is. Belfast is the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland.

One thing it is known for is being the place where the RMS TITANIC was built.

While being absolutely GORGEOUS in scenery there are many things for Belfast Singles to do that cost nothing!

Being a book-lover I would recommend heading over to the library!

When the cool temperatures set in and the leaves are changing colours, I find it a wonderful time to cosy up and read! Visiting the library is scenic, and a great way to get to know each other as you explore all the books. The Linen Hall Library is a must for a no-spend date!

Explore Ridge Trail on Divis and Black Mountain.

Being outdoors is my favourite thing, and even more so in Autumn. Nature is FREE, but also so incredibly beautiful. You could even pack a bag with lunch and maybe a sketchbook and pencil if you are an artsy type and enjoy some time using nature as inspiration for art. Or you could even just lay on the grass and stare up at the seemingly endless sky. It`s a great time to connect and get to know each other.

Visit Belfast Castle.

Personally, I have never been to a castle, so this would be absolutely magical for me. I can only imagine how beautiful the greenery would be during autumn. Take a tour of the castle and wonder through the grounds. Notice how beautiful it all is.

Tour Belfast City Hall.

Whether you are a local, or a tourist, there are always new things that can be learned! Enjoy a stroll through the grounds and watch as the leaves dance from their branches to the ground. I would definitely be interested in going on a tour of the inside. Even if you don`t like politics, I bet the architecture is amazing!

Visit Colin Glen Forest Park.

Pack a wooly blanket, and some supper and get cosy while watching the sunset! Of course, explore the park first. Notice the trees and all the colours in front of you. Listen to the sound of walking on top of the crunchy leaves.

Being in a place where the landscape is so beautiful the options are endless for no-spend date ideas! Save your money for the holidays, and just enjoy the show nature puts on for you, for free. Practise being mindful and in the moment so you can really appreciate the beauty.

Belfast looks like an amazing place to visit and is definitely on my list of places I hope to see one day!

Have you visited Belfast? What are some of your favourite no-spend date ideas?

Love Always. N

  6. I’ve only been to Belfast once, and it was for an inquest so it was under dire circumstances and we obviously didn’t get to sightsee… But I’d like to go back under happier circumstances as it seemed great. I adore castles, so think that fairy tale looking one would be #1 on my list!
