We all want blog traffic. The more the better, right?
But, it can definitely be tricky to find ways to bring new traffic to your site. So I’ve compiled a list of 10 ways you can use to increase your blog traffic!
1. Use Linkedin
Linkedin is a professional networking platform where you build “connections” with others. I share my blog posts there, and I do get traffic from there. It can be a great way to get noticed as a writer as well. This social media outlet is a great tool to increase your blog traffic.
Now, I used to be on Facebook when I was a teen. Then, I had to get rid of it, because it was simply destroying my mental health. I got it again within the last few months and I do have to manage it very carefully, but I have found it very useful with getting more traffic. There are a ton of Facebook blog groups where you can share your blog posts and interact with others, and even just sharing your writing to your own profile is beneficial.
I’m not going to go into too much detail with this one. I don’t feel qualified enough to do so. But, there are some amazing bloggers that offer courses and help with mastering Pinterest and I highly recommend diving into learning as much as you can!
4. Twitter comment threads
I love twitter. It’s my favorite platform. I participate in a lot of blog comment threads and I LOVE getting to meet new bloggers! Twitter is definitely an effective and wonderful way to increase your blog traffic.
5. Advertise on other blogs
I know there are quite a few blogs that offer this (I do too if you’re interested) and it can help with traffic and DA score!
I’m still learning it, but Mix is pretty neat!
7. Share with your friends and family
Of course only if you’re comfortable! It can be helpful to have their support, but maybe you don’t feel comfortable with that and that is totally okay!
8. Work on your DA score
9. Put the link to your latest blog post in your Instagram bio.
10. Use Instagram stories
Show up, at least once a day on your stories and spark peoples interest to click the link in your bio.
