Is anyone else having a hard time believing its end of May already?! Where is 2021 going? Time is flying by and summer was approaching really quickly. Summer is not my favorite time of year. If you’re a new reader here, first, thanks for stopping in, you’re amazing, but second, I struggle with having positive body image. Therefore during summer, I was still wearing jeans and hoodies. The more amount of clothing I could wear to cover up, the better. I believed, until this year, that my body was something to be ashamed of . My stretch marks had me running for the hills at the thought of exposing them just to be more comfortable. But living through a pandemic has also taught me that, things don’t always go as planned, and that is okay. There is beauty in everything. So when summer was approaching this year, I said, screw…
I love me a good personal post, so go get your coffee/tea, and cozy up! You’re in for a treat! The story of Thoughts with N is a story of passion, belief, and a lot of hard work. On both the blog, but on me too. Four years ago, I was in the car with my husband on Pinterest. Well, before the four years ago though you should know that writing has always had a space in my life. I have always loved it and found it relaxing to be able to put words to things in my head. Almost as if I could validate my emotions myself. So back to four years ago in the car, I kept seeing blogging pins. You know which ones I’m talking about right? I MADE $96868768969 THIS MONTH! HERE’S THE SECRET. Like any naive writer this was exactly what I needed. I read…
Over a year into the pandemic, I am LOVING online games! Before the pandemic, I actually never played games online. But now, I can honestly say I love them! So fun and entertaining! Today I’m sharing 9 games I love, how you play, and what I love about them. Neon Snake This game definitely takes me back to childhood!! The classic snake game. Using your arrows on your keyboard, you guide the snake around, collecting coins, being careful not to eat your tail! (Your snake grows as you collect the coins.) I really enjoyed this game as a child, and now even as an adult! I made it to 64 as a score. See if you can beat me! (I’m guessing you definitely can.) Also, the little snake character is super cute. Tap Supermarket Grocery Store I wasn’t sure if I would like this one. It involves a bit more…
We’re a year into the pandemic and, sadly, I don’t think we are out of the hard stuff yet. With about 131.1 million Covid-19 cases in 219 countries, it’s hard to think that we might be out of the woods. My mental health plummeted during this past year. Being inside, and not able to socialize or see people was tough. Everything has changed, and frankly I’m not even sure I’m convinced that it will go back to “normal.” I think we may have to slowly redefine what “normal” is. Having struggled for the past year to remain stable, today I thought I’d share what I’m doing to stay positive. Especially when the world is experiencing such strange times. So here are 5 things I’m doing to stay positive right now. I am using affirmations, and if you’re not, you need to now. Affirmations are statements that you declare to be…

AD – I received two items from Lip Service Beauty as gifts. I’m so glad to have found this amazing brand and to be able to share them with you! With the change in seasons, sometimes we need to change our skincare routine as well. Different weather conditions means different effects on our skin. An area that I think goes a bit forgotten is our lips. It’s important to ensure adequate hydration. Ensuring hydration is important for all skin care needs, but for lips it helps them to stay healthy rather than dry/cracked and/or chapped. According to Webmd, it is recommended that women drink about 2L of water per day. Dry/chapped lips are often rough with peeling of the skin or even breaks in the surface. This can be caused by many things such as sun exposure, excessive lip licking, dry/cold weather and lack of hydration. Ensuring that you’re getting…

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with this brand. They are absolutely incredible! My Bud Vase is a brand that is changing the way that cannabis and females interact and are viewed. Being a cannabis user, I was so excited to find a brand that I could indulge in my feminine side. They have created a way for women to smoke cannabis, and still be elegant, classy, and beautiful. Every piece is crafted and created with care and love with women in mind, and I think that’s awesome. I am a cannabis user. I use it for multiple reasons. First, it’s fun too let go of inhibition and control, but second, I feel like I’m a better person using it. It calms me. I can slow down finally. It helps me sleep. I laugh more, and I take time to do the important stuff, like talking with my…
I’m so excited to share with you today an INCREDIBLE brand! SleeBD is a brand that creates amazing products to help with one of the most essential parts of our lives, sleep. Some information below is from the brand’s website, and other research, but, the opinion of the product and recommendation is 100% my own. Sleep is a naturally recurring state of mind and body. It is identified by a few things. Altered consciousness, relatively inhibited sensory activity, reduced muscle activity and inhibition of nearly all voluntary muscles during rapid eye movement sleep, and reduced interactions with surroundings. Sleep is distinguished from wakefulness by a decreased ability to react to stimuli, but more reactive than a coma or disorders of consciousness, with sleep displaying very different and active brain patterns. * Sleep is so important in carrying out the daily tasks of life. Adults, on average need 7-9 hours of…
AD- This is a sponsored post. You all know I like my cannabis, and I know some of you do too, so today I’m sharing with you about rolling papers. It has taken me MONTHS to learn how to roll a good joint, and now I want to share some tips, and things I’ve learned about rolling papers. There are so many different kinds, all with different textures, taste, burning speeds, sturdiness, style, and more. For being such a small thing, there are definitely many variables My favorite though, is natural hemp papers. It’s like smoking weed using weed. I find that they are easy to roll with, and the taste is subtle. It’s my style 100%. Today I’m introducing Choast Rolls. Choast Rolls are authentic, unrefined, and unbleached. Their mission is to become a Canadian leader in the rolling paper industry. At Choast Rolls, they believe that quality is the most important…
Being insecure is something I have struggled with my entire life. Body image issues have lived with me from the beginning. I`ve always sought approval, and validation from outside sources, rather than internal. I have tried many times to convince myself that this wasn`t the case, but none the less, it was, and it is. Learning how to re-focus, and even learn to love what I deem to be flaws has been hard. Being our own biggest critics, I think it`s hard to take what we presume to be negative and turn it into positive. Where does this flaw-like thinking start? For me, it began as a child. I can of course only speak personally. With body image issues beginning as early as 5, it is easy to assume that I was not alone in the struggle. Body image being how one perceives their body, and how they assume others…
